Blast from the Past!
Seargent Rock I ain't!
And by popular demand... emphasis on "demand", Kelly asked for it, and what Kelly asks, Kelly gets:
A bit of Paul Stanley meets Sheena Easton from Halloween 1984. Good Lord! Could those parachute pants be any tighter? What I wouldn't give to have a waistline that size again!
In the back you can see
Funny yes? Ah, the good ole days!
Maybe everyone can post a pic from way back when?

Oh my! I'm laughing at the difference in height! All you could see is the top of her head!
Kelly, did you have permanent neck pain the whole time you two dated?
6:56 PM
Yeah. Go ahead and laugh. All my friends at work are too! Though I think they are laughing at the makeup and how thin I was back then. But you should have seen the laughs we got at one of the Grissom ROTC Balls when she stood on the steps for a slow dance. Now that was funny! :-D

"Pretty unique, we're groovy"

The moustachioed guy is Eric J. and Dena. Eric didn't go to school with us. This party is coming back to me now.
9:23 PM
You don't want a waist that size again, waaay too skinny. We like men who have a bit of meat to grab on to. We especially don't want men whose ass is less than a third the size of ours, am I right, ladies?
Great picture!
Kelly always got the tallest guys, always. I think she was compensating...
10:27 PM
OMG! What a great pic! Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting it (finally!). ;)
That was a fun night ... and no, you wouldn't want to be that skinny again. Sam's right about that.
Am I *really* that short?! Y'know, I was recently OFFICIALLY measured by the dr. and I'm all of 4'10.5"!
Yeah me!
2:06 AM
BTW, I think that's Sam McDowell with Mike Pace.
2:08 AM
Sam McDowell!!! That is her! Wow! I knew that I knew I knew her and just couldn't remember the name. She was nice, what ever happened to her?
Kelly: 4'10.5"? you'd fit in very well here in Thailand! And no. I don't want to be THAT skinny again. But I'd like for my inseam to outmeasure my waistband!
Cheryl: Was that at Dena's house? Do you remember?
Sam: Is that meat to grab onto? or Meet to grab onto? Both probably! :-D
8:18 AM
OMG! I can't believe those pictures. Were we really that young? I guess we were. You always were such a cutie, makeup or no. Of course, I knew you better at Chaffee than at Grissom.
Now I know why I burned all my high school photos. It's too depressing to see how thin we used to be!
11:01 AM
No, that's not Dena's house, it's Reene Ausban's. She lived in that weird round house on Weatherly, remember?
7:31 PM
Siren: You got that right! And I'd almost forgotten we both went to Chaffee... My synapses just aren't firing like they used to. Chaffee was a fun place... my first kiss happened at Chaffee!
Kelly: I remember the house, I remember it was on Weatherly, and I remember Mike trenching the front yard. Still don't know why he did that. Reene's father was soooo pissed!
8:30 PM
Gawd! How do you ladies remember these things??? I've been away waaaayyy too long!
8:32 PM
Har! Talk about synapses not firing like they used to ... my memory over the past couple years has gotten crappy. Turns out it's a typical symptom of hypothyroidism - which I was diagnosed with 5 years ago, treated while I was pregnant, then told it was only due to pregnancy. Well - guess what? It wasn't and now I've gone untreated for the past 4 years! Whoohooo!
Anyway, maybe my memory will get better as it's regulated. And *then* can tell even more funny stories about you!

I actually remember your first kiss, too, Chris. I helped Beth Lechner catch you so she could inflict it!
Kelly - I know what you mean about hypothyroidism and memory problems. I always know when my thyroid level is low because that's the first thing to go. WHen I can't remember names for common household items, it's time to get the level checked.
10:49 PM
Man, it's times like these that I get so frustrated with the image blocking here at work. I want to see these photos!
11:43 PM
Beth is living in Knoxville with her husband. I think they have a couple of kids.
The man who lived across the street from me designed that house.
9:08 PM
So guy, did you date all the women in this circle of friends? I'm quite impressed and I also note that you are keeping yourself safely on the other side of the world. Nothing like distance to make the heart grow fonder. Look forward to meeting you some day soon.
5:41 AM
Don: Um... well... not ALL of them. Siren, Lola, and I were friends for years. Sam was Kelly's best friend when Kelly and I dated (and such a bad influence [HA!]) Hipster and I dated as well, and Lisa and I went to Sr. Prom together, and JY Bisquick has been one of my favorite people since Driver's Ed in 10th grade. And no, I didn't date Steve either. ;-)
I think at some point I've kissed all all of them, well, except Steve. (and I don't think we'll be changing that status any time soon)
Lookin' forward to meetin you as well. Hopefully in April!
10:00 AM
Hey! Not fair! They got to kiss you in high school! Kissing boys in the third grade was a way of torturing them. That was before you knew you wanted to be caught!
9:23 PM
Torture? You sure? Good lord I used to let myself get caught. I had to act like I didn't like it so the other boys wouldn't think I was weird!
9:58 PM
Yeah - I remember you were the only one who would try to kiss back!
5:39 AM
Heh heh. What can I say? I was full of good ideas at a very young age. :-)
